REGULATIONS

It's programmed one Violin Masterclass with the Master Maurizio Sciarretta on the following dates :

May 9, 2011 – May 10, 2011.

The participants are distinguished in : Auditor or Active.

The Master Class, programmed for violinists from every country without any age limit, it's opened to a maximum number of ten people as active students.

The underage students (17-) will be allowed to sign and join the master class only after the explicit approval of their legal tutor.

If the registrations will exceed the maximum number of ten actives student, will did an admission examination by M° Sciarretta the day May 9, 2011 at 9,45 am

The active student has the right to have 2 lessons of 60 minutes each by M° Sciarretta.

The students that do not pass the admission exam for active will be allowed, like all the students that will ask for, to participate as auditors to the master class.

The minor age students (17-) admitted to the master class have the right to do attend to the lessons for free one person as Auditor.

An attendance certificate will be given to all students that participate to the master class.

At the end of the master class the most skilled and meritorious students (Decided exclusively by M° Sciarretta) will have the opportunity to perform for free in a public concert.

The students have to communicate at the moment of the inscription the pieces they intend to perform.

Board and lodging are not included and have to be paid by the participant.

A list of arranged hotel and restaurant at special condition and price is available at the secretary or on the web site : www.accademiapaganini.it

A web page, on the Accademia's web site, will be given to all students that participate to the master class.

To all students will be given advice for ENPALS

The management reserves the right to terminate the Master Class, with repaid of the registration fee, if is not reached the minimum number of 5 active students.

The management assumes no liability for damage to persons or property incurred during the course of the Master Class.

Those who do not participate in the active master will not be entitled to any refund

Spoken languages : English, German, Italian.

PARTICIPATION'S FEES

Master class inscription fee :

€ 30,00 NOT REFUNDABLE to be paid at the moment of the inscription (€25,00 + €5,00 IVA 20%)

The students that do not pass the admission like Active can participate to the master class's 2 days like Auditor with an additional payment of €30,00 (€25,00 + IVA)



Active’s student attendance's fee :

€ 170,00 (€141,66 + €28,34 IVA 20%) for 2 lessons of the MasterClass - each at €85,00 (€70,83 + €14,17 IVA 20%) - to be paid the day : may 9, 2011 after the admission

Auditor attendance's fee :

€ 100,00 subscription valid for the 2 days of the master class (€83,33 + €16,67 IVA)

€ 50,00 for daily single entrance to the master class (€41,67 + €8,33 IVA)

CURRICULUM VITAE :

M° MAURIZIO SCIARRETTA

Maurizio Sciarretta was born in Bologna and studied violin at the Conservatory of 1994-1996 under the guidance of Massimo Quarta.

Between 1995 and 1999 he studied in Cologne and Lubeck.

In 2001 he was admitted to the Master Class by Salvatore Accardo.

Maurizio Sciarretta has won numerous competitions, as the first prize in the "Premio Paolo Borciani"and the first prize in the "Premio Michelangelo Abbado" at Milan.

He also received numerous other awards.

In the meantime, he has performed as soloist throughout the world and is frequently Assistant of Professor Zakhar Bron.

Maurizio Sciarretta wurde in Bologna geboren und studierte von 1994 bis 1996 am dortingen Konservatorium Geige bei Massimo Quarta.

Zwischen 1995 und 1999 studierte er in Lubeck und Koln. 2001 wurde er in die Meisterklase von Salvatore Accardo aufgenommen.

Maurizio Sciarretta gewann zahlreiche Wettbewerbe, wie Z.B. den Ersten Preis beim “Premio Paolo Borciani” und den Ersten Preis “Premio Michelangelo Abbado” in Mailand.

Zudem hat er zahlreiche weitere Auszeichnungen erhalten.

Inzwischen konzertiert er weltweit als Solist und ist haufig Assinstent von Prof. Zakhar Bron.
